Frau Maher in Cologne

You feel good at Ms. Mäh when you are 40+. Then you can dine in a well-groomed and varied and slightly more expensive way, drink in a comfortable atmosphere and meet people from the Veedel who do not mainly hang out on Chlodwigplatz.

For the 24.12. Pre-ordered the "best of the goose" for two people and were completely satisfied with the food. We wanted to treat ourselves to a delicious meal for Christmas Eve and ended up looking for a "goose to go" with Ms. Maher, as the offer appealed to us primarily because of the organic quality of the goose. We also ordered chestnuts with goose leg, breast, red cabbage, sauce and dumplings. It was really delicious, the goose was crispy and tender at the same time, red cabbage, dumplings and sauce very tasty - my highlight was also the chestnuts. Thanks to the Ms. Maher team, you made us very happy with the dinner on Christmas Eve!

We like to eat at Ms. Maher's and appreciate the high quality meals. Now we had ordered the New Year's Eve box. We are so excited and so satisfied! The box was packed with so much love and just looking at it we were happy. The food was delicious and completely met our expectations. The dishes were easy to prepare and a few special requests were taken into account. Ms. Maher's take-away is REALLY WORTHY! Many Thanks :-)

Nice service, food unfortunately not very tasty

Ate the best steak today, with a great red wine sauce, the most delicious gratin, soaked with the most delicious butter: it couldn't be better! In addition a perfect Pinot Noir from the Palatinate, stored in the cooler because of the high temperatures. An absolute must! And at Christmas we enjoyed the excellent MenuBox to feast on at home; big thanks to the chef and the lovely presentation

Yesterday we had the pleasure of picking up pre-ordered goose here. What can I say? All Corona restrictions are observed. We had pre-ordered to pick up the food at 6pm and the bags were ready on time. The whole process only took a few minutes. When we got home (after a 20-minute drive) we served the perfectly tempered food and the enjoyment began. The goose was crispy on the outside and tender as butter on the inside. The dumplings had the perfect consistency and the taste was very harmonious. The red cabbage was perfectly seasoned. My grandma couldn't have done better. The sauce went wonderfully with everything. We'll definitely be back ... and not just for the goose!

We ordered food there for the first time today, but definitely not for the last time. The leg of goose was very crispy and tasty. Red cabbage and dumplings can't be better. We react immediately to special customer requests, even with new customers. The food was delivered and the temperature was nothing to complain about. With or without Corona, we will use Ms. Maher's kitchen again. We wish the whole team good health and continue to enjoy their work. We hope that you will persevere and make the most of your situation. Do not let Corona discourage you, you are on the right track.

There is very tasty food ... The staff are very nice. And I like to go there too. :)

After the owner changed, we thought we'd give the shop another chance (last time we were completely forgotten). The ambience is super nice and you can sit here in the sun for lunch. The food came before the drinks (the drinks came on request), when the salad came it was said that the bread that went with it was still in the oven. When we paid it was apparently still: D So nothing has changed in the service ...

I don't know where these pictures come from. We got 3 loveless almost raw fried eggs on a small dry bread with a small slice of ham. It was expensive too.

The restaurant / café is beautifully decorated and the service was very friendly on our visit yesterday. Unfortunately the fruit in our yogurt was bad and there were some complications with the order. The other staff that I met in the toilets were also very unfriendly and not very courteous. It's a shame, because Ms. Mahér looks great and the other components of our breakfast were very tasty.

I can only rave about it.! Great menu, very nice and quick service, good concept that has a future. Extremely recommendable.

We were eating there with friends. The entire staff and the service is great, extremely friendly. The menu may be a bit manageable due to the corona, but everyone will find something. The food was really very good and met our expectations. The selection of drinks is excellent and offers one or two surprises. Highly Recommended!!!

Despite a reservation we were not on the list, food was okay (lasagna from the microwave). Ambience great. Service great. We'll be back anyway, felt we were in good hands

We made reservations online and when we arrived there was no table available. The waiter was not very friendly and not particularly helpful in finding a solution for us, let alone apologizing for this situation. The statement was "online reservations" are not checked regularly, you should call. Very bad the whole situation, would have loved to have dined here.
